Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Case Reviewer/Analyst to join a dynamic team in Florida. This role involves a thorough examination of medical and legal documentation to develop comprehensive medical chronologies. The ideal candidate will collaborate with physicians and other team members to ensure a high-quality work product, contributing to an essential service in the healthcare and legal sectors.

Responsibilities

• Review medical and legal documentation/records to develop medical chronologies and provide written case summaries and analysis.
• Extract and analyze complex medical data and evaluate the appropriateness of treatments provided.
• Assist with refining and improving processes associated with reviewing cases and audit work of other team members.
• Collaborate with team members, physicians, and clients to develop a high-quality work product.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing with an active nursing license.
• Proficiency with using a computer, Microsoft Word, and Google; excellent typing skills and ability to navigate various software programs.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medications, and a good understanding of common procedures/surgeries.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to consistently meet deadlines and produce high-quality work.
• Team player with strong communication skills and a commitment to quality improvement.
• Self-motivated with excellent time management skills and a willingness to continually learn new medical knowledge and concepts.
• Ability to stand/sit for long durations daily.
• Prior experience in ER, Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, Neurology, or surgery is a plus, as is experience with utilization review, medical chronologies, or legal experience.

This position is 100% onsite in Florida and does not offer remote work options.
